Jana Marcova is the leading expert on public and government relations in the Czech Repubilc. In 1989 Ms. Marcova was on of eighteen founders of the Czech Civic Forum, and has been active in shaping the industry ever since. Currently, she leads an alliance of government affairs professionals working to reform national ethics and lobbying laws to bring greater transparency and professionalism to the industry.
Ms. Marcova provides a wide array of services to clients including monitoring the legal and legislative environment for current and potential laws and regulations, positive lobbying of the final legislation in the executive and Czech Parliament, and facilitating communication and good relations between her clients with these entities.
From 1998 to 2001, she has been a top manager at the Prague Stock Exchange. Before this was a member of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, a spokesperson for the Civic Democratic Party, and Member of the Czechoslovak Federal Assembly.
Jana Marcová graduated at the School of Social Sciences of the Charles University, Prague and received and M.A. at the Institute of Finance and Administration. She has also participated in number of academic programs around the world.
